We are dedicated to the education and success of each student in Livingston County. Our programs and services give students, families, and educators the support necessary to ensure every student reaches their full potential.
Our Programs
Early Childhood
Our Early Childhood programs focus on our youngest learners. We provide education and support services for young children, from birth to age 5, in all areas of development.
Special Education
We provide specialized education and support services for students with disabilities from birth to age 26. Our professional staff provides services for students in their local district classrooms and as well as students in Pathway School.
Career Development
Our Career & Technical Educational programs, Early College and Career & College Readiness programs, and Adult & Alternative Education programs provide learning opportunities for students of all ages.
Transportation
We provide specialized transportation services for students with disabilities and operate the buses for Brighton, Hartland, Howell, and Pinckney Schools.
Curriculum & Instruction
The Curriculum and Instruction Department works with the leaders in our county’s local school districts to plan and build professional learning opportunities for our educators that will have the biggest impact on students' success.
Community Resources
We provide resources for residents and students in foster care, are experiencing financial hardship, or are displaced or homeless.
